A Fish Tale

Every year Kyle and I make the trek over to Eastern Washington for a fishing tournament in Metaline Falls. It's nothing BIG but it's something that we both have come to love doing together. This year the weather was the worst its ever been. 49 degrees, pouring rain, and a little windy. The pictures below prove how frozen I was!

The last several years we've placed pretty high. This year the elements just didn't work in our favor. We caught eight fish; however none of them were sufficient enough to get us within the Top 5.

Kyle decided at the last minute to head off to our home field - Potholes State Park - to finish out our trip. Talk about a difference. Sunshine, 65-70 degrees, and the fish were bigger! We wrapped up our weekend spending 9-10 hours on the water and pulling in some beauts!

We are headed to the Dalles soon to fish there - with Banks, Loon and Sprague soon after. Look for more pics and blog posts about our fishing adventures!

Also, please check out KIRO radio this week as I will be filling in for Candy on the Ron and Don Show - 97.3 on your FM dial!  ❤️❤️
