Welcome to My Blog!
I appreciate you stopping by to check out this website. Here you will find everything from traffic-related stories, makeup reviews, fun with family and friends & fishing.
This week was a return to TV, as I am working with KIRO TV on a project to give comprehensive traffic coverage. They have me driving with a photographer from 4:30 to 8 checking out the conditions of our area roads. For all the years I've covered traffic, this is a new concept for me. Honestly, I love it. It gives me a new perspective on the daily commute, and how my reporting can help your daily drive. Feedback is appreciated and I hope you'll drop me an email to tell me what you'd like to see covered. Tune in 4:30-7 on KIRO 7 and from 7-8 on kiro7.com!
I enjoy an outing with friends, especially if it involves shopping. This weekend I went with Rachel and JV to the Puyallup Farmers market to check out the fresh produce, flowers and the other fun vendors. As you know, my husband Kyle and I love fishing more than your average couple and when I saw Kelly's Kreations booth you know I had to swing in. Kelly does beautiful metal art. JV ended up buying a Seahawk trailer hitch and it gave me the idea to see if he could create a bass (fish) for Kyle. He can, he did and I can't wait to see how it will look on the truck. Grabbed some fresh flowers as a thank you for my friend who helped with this website you're visiting. Thanks Elaine. 😊
Elaine and I stopped by the Puyallup Fairgrounds for the Great Junk Hunt.
This..Was..Awesome.
It had over 100 vendors with everything from antiques to hand crafted goods even pastries. (Those caramel covered cinnamon rolls looked amazeballs).
Elaine and I spent several hours sifting through booths and you know I had to spend several minutes on the one booth that had an absolutely adorable fish set up. I purchased a cute succulent in a cute bark wrapped pot, along with a T from an old sign off a building in Chehalis from Chestnut and Cherry. You know I had to get the T, I mean...come on. Triple T, duh!
This week will be filled with extensive traffic coverage, and getting ready for a fishing tournament. Kyle and I have done this tournament the past few years. First year we placed 3rd as Team Turner. Keep your fingers crossed for us this year! 🎣🎣
